Account & Data Deletion

Request from the Expert Magic app

Sign in with your registered account, open My Profile, select Data Privacy & Account Deletion, then choose Request Account Deletion. Add an optional reason and submit. A verified request will appear for the Expert Magic administrator to review.

Request without the app

Email expertmagic.support@gmail.com with the subject “ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST”. Include your registered mobile number and state whether yours is a User or Expert account. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to submit an email request.

Identity verification and timing

We may verify account ownership using the registered mobile number, email address or a secure OTP flow. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and complete verified requests within seven business days, unless an unresolved payment, payout, chargeback, safety investigation or legal obligation requires additional time.

Data deleted

• Firebase Authentication access and active login credentials.
• User or Expert profile information, contact identifiers and device notification tokens.
• Associated call-session, block-list and support data where deletion is permitted and no longer required.
• Personal identifiers in transaction records will be deleted or de-identified where the underlying record must be retained.

Data that may be retained

Limited transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, safety or legal records may be retained only for the period required by applicable law or a legitimate compliance purpose. Deleted information may remain in protected backups until the normal backup lifecycle completes and will not be restored for ordinary use.

Important security note

Never send your password, OTP, UPI PIN, complete card details or Aadhaar document by ordinary email. Support will provide a secure method if additional verification is required.
